Notes for Returning, New and Potential Vendors
Spaces always fill up fast so don't wait too long to apply!

  • Vendor applications for the 2008 season are now available by sending a SASE to TVFM, PO Box 85138, Fairbanks, Alaska 99708. Check the Dates to Remember for availability.
  • Annual Dues are $20 and are to be paid at the start of the season.
  • For each day you sell, there is a $10 or $15 table fee plus 10% of your day's gross due each day at the end of Market. See the Policy Manual, #8 Fees, for other costs
  • All products for sale at the Tanana Valley Farmers Market must be made or produced in Alaska.
  • Baked Goods and D.E.C. Regulations See the Policy Manual, #17 Baked Goods and DEC Regulation for more information

    All food vendors, home and commercial, must comply with not only D.E.C. regulations, but also D.E.C. Waiver Request for TVFMA dated 03/01/94 (available from the Market Manager).

    Home Baking - Food vendors selling baked goods prepared in their home kitchen must possess a State of Alaska Food Workers Card. The food workers must take and pass the test given by the State. Vendors must set up a time with D.E.C. to take this test. Cost for the test is $10.00. You must have a copy of the Food Workers Card and a D.E.C. Home Bakers Application on file with the Market Manager before selling at the Market.
