Chefs at the Market

The Tanana Valley farmers market has made the chef at the market a permanent program at the market. Every other Wednesday beginning in July, a chef from the Stones Throw a not for profit food service training program in Fairbanks. Will be preparing dishes using vegetables and other local products available that day at market They will have recipe cards for the dishes they make, for you to take home to try your self. In partnership with the Fairbanks Economic Development, the Alaska Farmers Market Association, and Golden Heart Grown,we are so happy to bring this program to our local community. Buy Local.
